Rats, yes I was referring to the meta description box. I leave WP’s normal Excerpt box empty. So therefore I wouldn’t be able to extract anything at all then to the other plugin (FS Poster) as the only thing in meta description box is “Post Excerpt” hah. So its a loop of emptiness. Too bad. Thanks.
Oh, I have. They wound up re-instating one of the apps. They mass-kicked a lot of people, even those with a single app on their account. Clearly a mistake on their end or maybe a greedy attempt to bully people They quietly reinstated mine though. No response or anything. Just poof….it’s back again. I dialed Twitter use wa back because of it. I’m sure the platform won’t be lasting much longer at this rate.
Actually, all of my apps were suspended now. I think they are trying to bully people into paying $100/mo. If this is the case, we are going to join the list of users boycotting the social platform….

And yet when you hover over (or click on) the cancel link, it is a Jetpack URL (ie: https://jetpack.wordpress.com/jetpack-comment/?blogid=6922073&postid=86036&comment_registration=0&require_name_email=1&s….etc etc etc). The link goes on forever so I didn’t include the whole thing so it isn’t spammy here. I can provide the full link via msg or something.

In reply to: [Neve] Comment layout messed upOk. I just did the same. Will see what happens. It has to be an issue if multiple people are experiencing it and not just one.

In reply to: [Neve] Comment layout messed upDid anyone find a solution for this? I am having this issue and it’s causing other troubles too for me. Sorry to post here and inject my own troubles, but searching Google led me nowhere until I FINALLY found this post.
It is indeed a Jetpack issue. If you hover over the “cancel” link, you can see it is jetpack in the URL.

I have answered my own question for the original question. Ninja Forms does *not* support normal file attachments to emails. It only supports “uploading” these attachments to WordPress or external services like Google Drive. And it is hidden behind a $50+ paywall. I get the external services thing, but for basic attachments (which is a basic feature of any email service), I can’t see myself being forced to pay $50 to unlock a single field when I can just say “send attachments to this email address” so the user can do it from any mail program on their own and be done with it.
Also, never did find a fix to prevent it from bypassing WP Better Emails plugin’s template. And support is non-existent. So I couldn’t find myself paying for anything even if I had a huge site with plenty forms or something. There is no warm fuzzy feeling to transition you from free use to buying something. Must not be profitable enough for the dev. Probably because most users see through this paywall stuff.
I wound up sticking with Contact 7. The only reason I was considering something else was that it was listed via multiple sources as having the highest load on page load times as it loads information on every page of your site despite there being a form or not. But at the end of the day, load times are more than good enough for now and I have…..one simple form with basic fields and an attachment field. I’d say if it ain’t broke….
Hey! I noticed it this morning. Had to clear the browser’s cache as it was showing both notices for a moment, but the old one went away and the new one can be dismissed. Right on! Thanks for listening! If I see anything else strange I’ll make sure to mention it. It’s the old beta-tester in me. I may not have as much free time as I used to when I was younger, but I try to share what I can when I can. ??

Version 4.0.9
I also notice it doesn’t support plugins that format the emails WP sends out (ie, WP Better Emails). It bypasses it and sends it as plain text. That’s too bad. I may have to stick with Contact Form 7 for now.
Same here!
Already done ??
Yep, that seems to have worked for us too. Right on!
An update: I take that back. Rolling back to the new version, it does not work properly either. Clicking on the post-it note icon in the strip does not result in any actions. So the old version has to be used. Sadly, we keep having to roll it back because WordPress won’t let us disable updates for it. We may have to switch to a different plug in for the time being.
As for myself, the error I saw is in the header section of every admin section page. You can see it in the following screenshot:
As for where snippets are added, they are only added to a few posts here and there within the posts. Just some text within a table and such that gets repeated from time to time. Nothing to do with the backend. Plugin itself still functions when writing a post and everything. You just get all that text at the top on every page of the admin section.
