Any thoughts on this? This issue makes this plug in virtually useless for those of us who display repeating iCal events, so I hope that there is a fix coming soon.
Ugh, I should have known that! Thank you!

In reply to: Plugin and WordPress updates no longer workingI have another website I manage (although infrequently) that I discovered this morning was suffering the same update problem. On the sites WP dashboard > updates page I reinstalled 4.1.1 by simply clicking the reinstall button. That did seem to fix the issue for this site as well.
I think the original install of 4.1.1 was corrupt and the reinstall appears to have corrected things. Good luck!

In reply to: Plugin and WordPress updates no longer workingMy problem has been fixed but I have no idea how. A week or so ago I logged in to the dashboard and again attempted to reinstall 4.1.1 and it worked. I assume that it was something with my host, but I honestly have no idea.

In reply to: Plugin and WordPress updates no longer workingYou’re doing better than I am, because my updates are pretty much dead in the water at this point, unless I do a manual update.

In reply to: [Google Calendar Widget] Google Calendar Widget no longer worksI can’t think of anything I’ve done recently that would have caused it. Have you recently updated the plugin or your WordPress implementation?

In reply to: Managing BLog from iPadUgh…..so ftp’ing the files (rather than WP upload) doesn’t place it in the WP database for it to show up in the admin panel for me to add it to my site. Is that correct?
Forum: Fixing WordPress
In reply to: Managing BLog from iPadOk, so I figured out how to get PDFs from my iPad to my blog. There is an app that allows me to ftp the documents to my site.
However, although the files are in the server folder with other documents (that I uploaded via the wp-admin>media library>add new function in the admin panel), I cannot see them in the library to link to any of my posts / pages.
Any ideas how I can fix this?
Alex, I have the slideshow up and running, but in order to diagnose the issue to get it to work with non-flash devices do I need to turn it off in the options panel?
I checked it with the default theme prior to loading imagerotator, and I still had the problem with slideshows not loading, so it doesn’t appear to be a theme related issue.
Problem solved!
I figured it out…..copied imagerotator.swf to my plugins directory and it works not.
Thanks for that link…..when I follow the process in the link:
Gallery > Options > Slideshow
I get a blank screen on the slideshow tab. Any ideas?
There are 5 or 6 images in the gallery I want to display as a slideshow, so unfortunately that doesn’t appear to be the problem. I wish it were the problem, though, because that would be easy to fix!
FWIW, I have two sites hosted on my hosting plan. My other site displays slideshows correctly with no issues, but this site doesn’t work. Maybe it has something to do with where it was installed? Or perhaps a permissions issue?
Ok, I republished the page and it should show up now (but still not working)…..
