    Just updated to 2.2.2.2
however, same thing. only the last child taxonomy display posts – the others display a blank widget.
example taxonomy: Cars -> California -> Los Angeles
    Cars -> blank widget
    Cars -> California blank widget
Cars -> California -> Los Angeles – display posts.

I just tried on another theme: classipress by appthemes – same issue.

No I don’t use “menu”, I use excerpt ….but I tried with every options…. although the custom thumbs are on the list -to select to use…. some how thumbs won’t show.

Is there a script I can put into functions.php to have your plugin somehow recognize the thumbs?

info: in the theme this calls the post thumb: <?php cd_get_image_url(); ?>

    Thanks

    Hi,
Thanks for your reply and update.
    I checked “Include Current Taxonomy,
Only shows posts from the last child tax.
(the other terms just a blank widget)

    I’ve 3 level custom taxonomy
    parent -> sub -> sub-sub
    example:
Cars -> California -> Los Angeles

Only shows post when in Los Angeles.

When is Cars or California, the widget is empty. (which is not good)
(btw; how can I hide the widget when is empty?
(so it won’t show a blank widget – that does not look good).

    About a thumbs…..

When I go to Image Size: – I have the theme’s thumbs on the list (all 3 sizes…it’s all there to select from the list) – but no matter which one I select – no thumb shows.

Is there any code I can include maybe in the theme’s function.php, so those thumbs would show?
(obviously the thumbs shows everywhere on the site)…it must be a weird theme code…. why your plugin don’t display it).

    Thanks
    Fred

Actually just realized. -the sidebar widget (set to show 5)
It only shows 1 post from each /any taxonomy.

    Taxonomy: Books-state-city

so if I’m in California – should show 5 post from California.
If I’m in San Francisco – show 5 posts from San Francisco.

any idea how to do that?
    Thanks

Forgot – it is widget I’m referring to.

As for the post from current taxonomy – too bad, -it’s really a feature should be. -It all about “relevant” posts. so showing post belong to that category you’re viewing …. it’s just good and logical.
…..so I will have to keep looking around to get that.
    Thanks

As for thumbs, I will try that…. but I tried every options…and can’t get your plugin show the posts thumbs (custom theme – use “post_image” to display post thumbs.)

    Thanks

    Hi, thanks for your reply.

Actually, I do mean taxonomy archive,
Let say I’ve a taxonomy: Cars -> California -> Los Angeles

    So:
if I’m in Cars taxonomy archive – show posts from Cars -in a sidebar widget
if I’m in California – show posts Only from California – in a sidebar widget
if I’m in Los Angeles – show posts Only from Los Angeles – in a sidebar widget

But no matter which taxonomy archive I’m in, it shows posts from all taxonomies. (where if I’m in taxonomy archive: California – it should show posts from California taxonomy only.

    How can I do that?

Also, no post thumb. (I select the correct thumb from “image size” section (my thumbs are on the list)- but no thumbs shows).
My theme use a custom code: “post_image” to display post thumbnails – if no post image it displays a default thumb).
How can I set your plugin to show thumbs?

    Thanks
    Fred

    Hi,
I just see your reply…. sorry.

I can’t display Posts from current taxonomy.

(it can only display the child taxonomies from current -,but not Posts)

How can I display posts from current taxonomy only?
    Thanks

    Thanks for your reply,
Yes all have common term and all have images.
    I’ve a 3 level custom taxonomy
    parent -> sub -> sub-sub

example: Cars -> California -> Los Angeles

    So
if I’m in Cars – show posts from Cars
if I’m in California – show posts Only from California
if I’m in Los Angeles – show posts Only from Los Angeles

so this is what I hope to do.
    Thanks

    Hi,
    Yes, all post have thumbnails.

    I’ve multilevel taxonomy.

When I use Format: Post Thumbnails (either widget or shortcode in page), and set to 5 per page, ….it’s always show only 1 post.. and it’s always the same one post. (same in widget and on page)

in that taxonomy have 12 post – all have thumbnails – but only shows 1 post. (always that same post)

If I go to another child taxonomy have 9 posts all have thumbs….. it shows ONLY that same 1 post with thumb….BUT that post is not in this child taxonomy….

    Any idea?
    Thanks
    Fred

what I noticed, look at some of your demo, running it on a “responsive design view” (FF), that a photos gets cut off…kind of like crop a picture, so it it does not adjust full picture below 1280×600
