Is that something already in place in WPMU or are you suggesting that it could be developed for WPMU?

Install the plugin TinyMCE Advanced. It will allow you to do advanced wysiwyg layouts in your pages and posts which includes tables and alot more features.

Is that something that could be developed into WP?
