Can you clarify how a staging site would help you troubleshoot? If I set up a staging site with no other plugins and the default theme, how would that be different from your test environment?

Hi Nick, I’ve run through the following and am still having the same problem:
-Disabled all plugins
-Confirmed that my theme calls wp_footer() in footer.php
-Cleared theme cache
-Disabled theme cache
-There are no widgets being used on the page

I am assuming that it’s a theme conflict. I am using a Themify Builder theme (Ultra) which enables module-based page layout. Since the page is built using my theme’s builder functionality, changing the theme would render the page blank. Please let me know if there is other troubleshooting I can do to help identify or solve the problem.

I updated to the new version of the plugin today, but am having the same problem ??

Thanks for responding. Strange indeed. Could it be a permissions error? Why the string of extra characters?

I switched to Twenty Fourteen and did not see the problem, so I have contacted the theme developer to see if they have any suggestions. Thanks!

I don’t think I ever resolved the problem… must have abandoned it for another option. Unfortunately I can’t remember!

How do I go about troubleshooting a possible conflict with the theme? I assume that’s where the conflict resides. The theme is a custom one built by my team.
You’re correct that I’m using the shortcode. I also have the same issue when I stick the button directly in the template.

I am trying to do the same thing. @raeph, I don’t see the files you’re referring to, and don’t see “animation” or “fade” in any of the plugin files. Can you please clarify?
