Well, All I get is the usual “This post is password protected. To view it please enter your password below:” followed by a field to enter a password.

Possibly a caching issue with your browser? Did you try another browser/computer to eliminate the possibility? Seems to work as expected on my end.

That means that your new pages are probably added automatically to the main navigation. If your theme supports custom WordPress menus (Appearance>Menus) then you can create a menu that has only the pages you want, as well as rename the tabs if you don’t want theme to be the same as the page title. Here’s a video that shows the basics.

Why would you only want only one page crawled? I would think that this would make for abysmal SEO…

You can try adding a SEO plugin to your site, and set all your pages and posts to “no follow” or possibly write a custom robots.txt file, but there is no guarantee that a bot will respect it and not crawl your entire site.

I think it can’t be done…

I don’t get a 404 error when I check it. is this problem resolved?

Well, if your theme is that sensitive, it may not be worth whatever you paid for it. Two ways you can go:

1. Switch to a responsive theme design, one that adapts to whatever device it’s viewed on. The default Twenty Eleven is a good example, but there are others.
2. You use a plugin like WPtouch, which happens to be free (and works fairly well) but is not exactly beautiful IMHO

Another solution is to create a page called “Welcome to Life Changers Church!” and set that as your home page, and then create a Custom Menu, and change the label of that page to “Home” so it displays the way you want in main navigation.

Is there anything you did right before recieving this error? Make any changes to settings in the dashboard, like permalinks (Settings/Permalinks) or similar?

Do you still have access to the dashboard by adding /wp-admin to the end of your URL?

Have you created a custom menu, or are using the default menu system?

I would also go the Custom Menu route (built into WordPress 3.x) if your theme supports it, which most up-to-date ones do.

Here’s a video on how to set it up with your theme. Way easier than messing with your theme files.

Before you go all *nuclear* here, you might want to try deactivating (temporarily) all your plugins, and then re-test your issue, just in case it’s another plugin that is causing problems on mobile devices.

Only takes a few seconds, and is preferable to *nuking and re-paving* your WordPress install.
