Until this is fixed, how do I put pictures into my blog?

I’ve been experimenting and have just used my FTP program (FileZilla) to upload my pictures to the correct folder at my blog’s site, but I don’t know where I go from there? What is the HTML for putting the picture into the blog.

So far my efforts have been unsuccessful…

No, I’m using a PC–both my XP and Vista computers are having this problem.

Got the link to work by cutting and pasting it into URL.

I’ve tried uploading on a 2nd computer of mine (so tried both on XP and on Vista) and having same problem.

What do you mean by try using the “Browser Uploader”? You mean to use FTP other than the one built into WordPress. Jeez, that would be inconvenient…

Also…I haven’t upgraded my Flash today–not sure that this is what the problem is, and FredRE is apparently having similar problem with 9.0.

Got it–it WAS a theme problem, and I was able to eventually get to the feed page and download the page to XML. Now I’ve imported and everything’s there–except “unpublished”. Seems like there should be some kind of way to mass “publish”…

Nope–I’m stuck at getting the page as an XML file. Explorer 7 doesn’t do that either. Nor FireFox.

Hmmm…I got as far as “Using your browser, save that page as an xml file locally to your computer.”

I don’t have XML as a “Save as…” option in my browser (Explorer 6).

I’ll try upgrading to Explorer 7 and see if that gives me the option. I assume that this is my problem?
