Thank you! I got it working following some of your tips. The last issues I am having is that I am placing CSS code in the styles tab and everything appears to display correctly but the image size I specify. I am having to go back into the Thumbnail section and manually change the image size for it to update. Also, there now appears to be a dot beside each item.

FYI: I have reset all the settings to default and removed the code but it makes no difference. I hope you can help me with these 2 items.

If I did not mention above, we have a new look on a dev site and want to test ou this plugin to make sure it works. What is the best option for this because with a fresh new installation and trying to configure it nothing shows in the sidebar. What is the best way to correct this issue? Thanks in advance for the help!

The date and time look fine with no issues. Like I mentioned when someone creates a story in the past it would save as Publish Immediately. Now it has the current date and time it was saved instead.

Also, the schedule posting feature works as far as setting it up but it does not work when the time rolls around. The previous build of WordPress worked fine for both of these areas.

Thank you for responding. Above I mentioned we tried Smush It Pro and from some sites that have reviewed the plugin its compression ratio is not that great. EWWW seems solid but the free one dont do much at all from my experience and I would hate to invest a lot of money there if I am also doing Amazon S3 for offloading all my images.

My server type is a VPS and using Inmotion Hosting. We do utilize Cloudflare and enjoyed it structure for sure. No complaints with Cloudflare I am just trying to tackle my images at the server end of things and hopefully compress and optimize them before they are sent to S3. Hope that makes sense.

Thank you for responding and giving me some insight. I am aware of how large things are and just been trying to find a solution but it is like no one knows how to help lol. I have tried Smush Pro but for whatever reason when I install and activate it the plugin went nuts and pegged out the PHP functions. I had to get support from hosting service to kill it off and then I had to delete it. Not sure what went on there with it and realize its one of the highest-rated plugins out there for image optimization. In the past, I also tried EWWW the free version and bulk optimization it did really did do much in terms of saving space. End of the day I am just trying to somehow if it is possible to compress everything at the hosting side and make it all smaller then moving forward use a CDN to offload it that even a thing. I am not a web developer or have one currently but getting some sort of direction would be much appreciated. Lastly, I can tell you that we do use Cloudflare and have for several years. It has done the job for the most part and Broken Link Checker I have used but it ate up tons of resources so I had to kill it. What would you do in my position at this point? The current 2 options I have been looking at is ShortPixel and EWWW but waiting to hear from their team after explaining what we are trying to do.

Thank you for checking in to all of this. My main site is in maintenance mode. My subdomain the demo is our dev site. Our website is launching on 3-16-15. So we are transitioning off of demo to our regular domain which is thenerdstash.com. Would you be able to help or do the setup for me if I gave you login access? Is BulletProof better than Wordfence?
