Hello,
It sounds like you’re concerned about the security features in AcyMailing. While the Pro version does offer additional features like ReCaptcha and hCaptcha integration, the free version still includes robust security measures to protect you from spam users and other malicious activity.
In the free version, you can still use other security measures such as email verification, domain verification or email verification to help prevent safeguard your site. However, if ReCaptcha integration is essential for your site’s security needs, upgrading to the Pro version would indeed provide that extra layer of protection.
Hello,
The “From address” is taken from the send settings of a campaign, or from the AcyMailing configuration if the send settings are empty.
Do you mean that you entered an address in the send settings but the one from the configuration is used instead?
For the “From name” the same rule applies, if the “Add names” option is active in the configuration.
Note that we handle the “Sender” address differently: it will be the “Bounce email address”, and if there is none, the “From address”.

In reply to: [Contact Form 7 integration - AcyMailing] not working (?)Can you confirm that you have the “AcyMailing lists” option when building your form, and that the selected lists are visible on the form?
If so, and if the user doesn’t get subscribed to the selected lists, could you tell me if you’re in one of the following cases?
- you are connected and try to subscribe an email address that is not the one of your account
- you’re trying to subscribe an existing user, but the option “Allow subscriber data modifications without authentication” is set to “No” in the configuration, tab “Subscription”
- the form doesn’t have an email address field

In reply to: [Modern Events Calendar integration - AcyMailing] hour formatHello and sorry about this big delay, we didn’t receive the forum’s notification emails until now.
The date format for the {startdate} shortcode follows the one of the current language. If you’re navigating on your site in French and still see the am/pm, maybe the AcyMailing translation isn’t up to date?
Have a nice day

In reply to: [Contact Form 7 integration - AcyMailing] not working (?)Hello,
When this integration plugin is active, you should see a new option on the CF7 editor:
Here is an example with two lists shown and one of them checked by default:
Note that if you select a list in the “Automatically subscribe to” option, it won’t be shown, since the user will be automatically subscribed.
Hello,
Could you open your Brevo account and check the contacts attributes listing? Could it be possible that there are too many attributes and Brevo refuses to create a new one?
For each campaign, AcyMailing creates two attributes (to store the subject and the body of the email per user).
They are automatically removed 30 days after the campaign is sent, but only when the automated tasks are active (on the paid versions). For the free version, I would recommend to use the SMTP integration with Brevo, that doesn’t need to create campaigns on the Brevo side.
If you prefer continuing using the Brevo API, you will need to remove the old contact attributes and campaigns/lists when they are done.
The WP and AcyMailing permissions are mixed together, for example the “AcyMailing” entry is only visible in the left menu if the user has the “read” WP permission (it should be the case for most roles), and is an administrator or their role is allowed in the option you mentioned.
The only exception we made is for the AcyMailing advanced permissions, the user must have to “manage_options” permission.
The code that adds AcyMailing in the left menu can be found in the file wp-content/plugins/acymailing/wpinit/menu.php near line 25
The code that checks the permissions can be found in the file wp-content/plugins/acymailing/back/libraries/wordpress/security.php near line 207
Hello,
If I’m not mistaken, the “Editor” role doesn’t have access to the WordPress admin part, so the user shouldn’t have access to the AcyMailing settings. Did you modify it?
How did you setup the advanced permissions in AcyMailing?
Did you select the “Administrator” and “Editor” roles for the “Configuration” part?Effectivement il faudra mettre 0,5 à 1,001kg si vous souhaitez qu’un panier d’1kg passe sur la seconde tranche. Notez que le poids de l’emballage est ajouté au poids du panier avant le calcul des prix d’envoi.
We’ll modify the WooCommerce filters to handle guest customers, it should make it easier if you ever have to do something similar in the future.
It depends if you want to do it one time, for all the past customers or if you want it to be done for new customers too.
For past customers, you can use a mass action under the “Automations” menu.
For the action, use “AcyMailing list => Subscribe users to => your list”
For the filter, use “WooCommerce – Purchased a product” without changing its optionsFor new customers, you can use an automation with the trigger “When a WooCommerce user order status changes” and the action “AcyMailing list => Subscribe users to => your list”.
Note that this filter only takes the orders with a status set to “Completed”. This may be the reason why you couldn’t set this up as the orders with a custom status won’t be taken into account.
If this is your case, we planned to add a field to choose the order statuses, but for now you can edit the file wp-content/plugins/acymailing-integration-for-woocommerce/WooCommerceAutomationConditions.php and near the line 256, replace “wc-completed” by the order status you want to select.
One other thing to consider, is that the automations are meant to do actions on AcyMailing users. If your customers aren’t in AcyMailing yet, you can import them in AcyMailing first by importing WordPress users.
For guest purchases however it will not work as these customers don’t have a WordPress account. Maybe you have a way in WooCommerce to export the list of customers? If so, you will be able to import them in AcyMailing and subscribe them to your list at the same time.
Hi, could you tell us more? Maybe I will understand ??
Hello,
What edition of AcyMailing is shown at the top-right of any AcyMailing page?
If it is something other than “AcyMailing Starter” and the license is expired, you will indeed not be able to update since it would remove the features you paid for by replacing the current version with the starter version. If you want to replace the current version with the free one, you can download the latest version from www.remarpro.com then go under the Plugins => Add New Plugin menu in your website and click the “Upload Plugin” button to install the latest version.
You’re right, the captcha feature is only available starting from AcyMailing Essential, I forgot to ask if you had the starter version. This only leaves the other option.
The second option is active for the subscription via URL and the submission of subscription forms.
One other solution would be to modify the file wp-content/plugins/acymailing/front/controllers/frontusers.php and near the line 291, add a custom test based on an additional parameter for example.
Hello,
There are two ways to secure this subscription method:
- you can activate the captcha protection in the AcyMailing configuration page, tab “Security”. Only the URLs containing your security key will be “approved”.
- you can change the “Allow non-logged in users” option under the “Subscription” tab, to only allow subscriptions from logged-in users.
