forgive my ignorance, but when you suggest “Put your new login string into the textarea and press the ‘Save Strings’ button.”
Do I just add “login” or do I put the complete url?

Thanks bh_WP_fan, yeah I initially left the wildcard set to the default /wildcard directory that Bluehast sets up but after about four failed attempts I started removing the /wildcard directory.
Still without luck I’m afraid. I still haven’t had a chance to check the mod_rewrite as previously mentioned hopefully will get to it today.

Just tried setting up using the sub folders method and it seems I can’t log into the dashboard.
Not sure what I did wrong, followed all of the steps exactly as the doc suggests, the only thing I’m not sure about is testing the mod_rewrite not sure how to do that?

I didn’t try that, mainly because I need to be using Sub Domains.
I will give it a go though seeing how you mentioned it and let you know how it goes.

I would like to know what plugin you used for your dropdown menu. I’ve had a look at your site and it seems you have resolved the drop-down menu issue. I have been trying to persist with the sucker fish plugin also. I have been able to install it but i cannot edit the default look to match my sites theme. some feedback would be great.
