Hey, thx for the reply – just still a bit confused. You explain it’s not possible due to WP core functions. However, the other plugin – WP/LR Sync – seems to do part of the job, no? – https://meowapps.com/wplr-sync/issues/ FAQ, common qs.: How to automatically link some EXIF/IPTC data to a specific custom field/meta in WordPress? And via tha API – https://meowapps.com/wplr-sync/api/ it mentions both keywords and tags.

So, without being a programmer myself, I’m trying to convince you, it’s possible through you’re own descriptions ??

In other words, with all these great image Meow-plugins, it seems as a win fetching standard image fields into standard WP fields important for filtering, organizing and SEO (instead of using Media Library Assistant).

Thanks Rob – actually many more IPTC fields survives the upload in the original file but WP just doesn’t show them. Why?

Because, in the interim time – sorry for answering myself – I found the plugin ‘Media Library Assistant’ which maps all IPTC fields into existent and new wp fields. Maybe that is a better and more reliable solution for you as well. It also has shortcodes for dynamic display (not affiliated with them).

This lets me set all image meta data prior to upload. Tagging should not be redundant. Tagging starts and belongs in my existent Lightroom workflow or whatever app.

WP on the other hand should handle tags (and categories) much better in the future. Especially when alt, desc., caption is always highlighted as important. Why not use existent meta data and automatically inherit that. And Pages should have tags as well. But that is another matter… ??

Just curious on your downstream image handling of IPTC meta data. Does your tag management include ‘keywords’? I find it quite frustrating that WP does not have an out-of-the-box way to dynamically display images based on the standard: spec set else where in photo editing/gallery software.

I hope you prioritize this bug since reporting is extremely vital for business acc.

…which by the way makes it useless, since the filtering by currency will then not happen. Result: all non-default currencies just adds into the total without conversion.

Hi, seems that the issue still exists. When I disable woocommerce multilingual plugin ALL data is exported.

… and when changing the product stock in only the original native language variation version it does not cascade down to the other languages? When doing so it seems that at the front-end the stock level is reflected correctly no matter which language is shown. So do you recommend to update all stock numbers in all languages are only in the original?
