@henkholloand – i know that i need to go through for ie fixes but thats not the problem. IE7 users are less than 10% of the visitors to our site so ie7 isnt as much of a priority as cleaning up the categories. Thank you for your input though.

@robfelty – okay that makes sense now, i figured it was something like that. do you know if theres any way around that? to only have posts display under the categories?

it does the same exact thing in IE7, IE8, Firefox (mac and windows), and safari. I’m not sure what youre talking about and i dont know how coding errors would change the way the php-based plugin outputs the categories

sorry i put the whole css folder into my theme root. that fixed it though, you’re my hero

what do you mean by strange css?

so i did what you said but now for some reason it lines them all up in a straight line, seemingly ignoring the float:left on the containing divs. I tried adding !important but still didnt work. Any ideas?

hmmm iv never heard of doing the columns like that. I’ll look into it, thanks for the advice!

nevermind it was just a plugin blocking some of my pages.

any ideas? its probably some simple php but ijust cant figure out how to do that “is not” for php. for javascript its != but that doesent work for php

they are assigned to the role of subscriber. There are only a few people that post on the site and we only use two different author names when posting
