The only thing I can think of is that because of a plug-in conflict I contacted my host, who suggested they roll me back to 5.9.2 and see if that helped. How I got rolled all the way back to 5.8.4 I am not sure, as it happened hours after I was on the phone with the host.

This morning I updated to 5.9.3 and everything seems normal, but I wish I knew how/why this happened!

They eventually did come back, thanks. I would love to try to turn site accelerator back on. If my host uses Cloudflare can/should I also use site accelerator? Thanks so much!

Thanks – much appreciated. If I turn off Jetpack Lazy loading is it possible that I can turn minify back on successfully?

I just turned Jetpack Lazy Loading off, but maybe because Cloudflare isn’t connected (my host has to do that, apparently) the changes don’t show up. I will try to get Cloudflare connected now.

Thanks for looking. That’s so strange – I see absolutely nothing on desktop. I have tried multiple browsers. I will wait and see if they come back.

I keep getting an error message about Cloudflare in my caching plugin so maybe that’s something I need to figure out.

Thanks so much for your very prompt and helpful response! I have one more question. With an alternate feed, I’d have to re-set my settings to full text? I’d changed them to summary because I often use photo galleries (rows of photos) in posts. That used to work fine when I used Feedburner to send RSS emails but Mailchimp seemed to be splitting apart my galleries into long vertical lines of huge photos.

Thanks for your reply. Today I had a new issue (“missed schedule post error” – scheduled posts not going out as scheduled) so for now have deactivated the caching plug-in.
