Man. Nothing is ever simple, huh? I remember having had this problem in the past and having had solved it by doing something with the language thing in phpAdmin. But as someone else had told me what to do and I blindly followed, I have no real memory of it! Any ideas would be grand.

I am having the same problems with any page document in which the content originally came from a microsoft word document!

Then I upgraded to 2.7.

What to do???

This is a sudden change! I really don’t want to go delete the symbols in all these pages. What could be the culprit here???

Nevermind guys. I figured it out. my .htaccess was hacked. Does anyone know a way I can future prevent hacking? I was hacked a couple months ago too.

yeah I was thinking it had something to do with mod_security. So what can netrillium do about it? I already contacted them, but they take forever to respond.

I just narrowed down a page with an essay on it to one word: FROM. What is wrong with the word FROM? And the word works fine in other parts of the paper.

I sent in a ticket to netrillium. Am awaiting the response (they usually take awhile though).

If I wanted to get my site back up now, do you think (if it really is the database that was hacked into) it would work if I just used a backup of my database?

I did all that you said…but it still does not work.

I’m guessing they hacked into the database? Now what?

but what about the content folder? I don’t want to lose all my stuff there…
