I did that, have you read the posts?? Thanks though. I was hoping to run into someone else who has had the same problem and found a solution. Ah, this is just frustrating.

I am working in the admin panel, and it is not showing the “export” option. I would like to update to a newer version; can I do that and not worry about losing my posts?? I eventually would like to switch my blog to another server, in which case I will definitely need to have the export option available. Also, I did replace the export.php file with the newest version (wp 2.3.3) of the file. This did not resolve the situation. Thank you for your help. Any other ideas??
