Fixed.

Bernbe01 my host ended up helping me through it.

Apparently it’s a glitch with WordPress’s import function.

But thank you for the help! If you hadn’t found the documentation about it timing out, I never would have contacted my host and we would have never figured it out together.

According to that tutorial, I get as far as Step 3…selecting my xml file, uploading it, selecting admin for posts and choosing the checkbox that also says import media.

Then nothing…

Just a blank page that says Import WordPress with no way to continue. And none of my site imported over.

My file is 4.1 MB, but it says my maximum size is 256 MB, so I don’t see how that’s the problem.

I should also add that I am seeing some of my media in my new www.remarpro.com installation, but now all my images are duplicated. I don’t want duplicates!

But no posts or pages are appearing…
