Why did user tags suddenly become a thing?

thanks, sadly I don’t need any more extensions so paying $249 is a bit steep, I just need to know how to restore things so we don’t need to have the extra /path/ in the URL. thanks

Thanks so much missveronica ?? , it’s now working but I have no idea why we suddenly need to have this ‘tag’ in the middle? We’ve got 50 previous posts without ‘tag’ and now suddenly tag it required – How can I remove the need for TAG or how/what do I install it so the correct URL is automatically generated?

Thanks for getting back to me. The client has done a huge promotional campaign so this is the worst time for things to go wrong so we’ve disabled stripe and will simply use paypal until the campaign is over. Then I will try what you’ve mentioned above.

So frustrating as it was working fine, didn’t do anything and suddenly it stopped. :/

Anyway will resume the hunt for the error in a couple of weeks
