I see the widgets under the appearance, but when I delete it, a default widget pops up, stating that “this is your first time using this widget.”

i enabled debug yet when i refresh my site, i don’t see denug working

thx, i disabled all of the plugins and still have the same problems. My content is still there when i use other themes; but my customizations aren’t. I am still learning; when you say walk through the child theme to see what’s broken, how can i do that? Any videos that you can point me to?

i will try to add this code; any recommendations on learning code. I’m curious on how you knew these codes. Did you know these by heart from experience? or did you use firebug to inspect the page? Anyway, thanks.

Thx for your response. I get the fundamentals of firebug. I have successfully used it quite a few times to modify my websites. The issue I sometimes have is, sometimes I don’t see the css that I need to modify for certain things that I inspect. I wanted to hide my navigation tab for my thank you page. I inspected the tab, went to the css side to adjust to see live changes; but no changes happen. Plus the css code that I received from support doesn’t match the code that i see in firebug. That was the main thing that confuses me. The css code that I received actually worked and removed my nav tabs. I am just curious to understand why i don’t see that same css code when i inspect on firebug.
