Ugh… I’m so sorry. This problem is so hard to explain, lol! Let me try again… For 3 of the sidebars, the widget works properly by sorting popular posts by each of those 3 categories. But the last 5 sidebars will only show the popular posts of one category – currently, the fashion, food, life, travel and the rest sidebars are all showing the popular posts for the food category. And if I try to change them to their own categories, they automatically change back to the food category. It’s so frustrating and I don’t know what to do.

I also noticed that when I try to exit the widgets section after trying to change the category settings of your plugin, I will get the message asking if I’m sure I want to leave, indicating that something is not being saved properly, when all widgets were saved and closed.

Hi ?? Thanks so much for the quick reply. I’ve added featured images to all posts, and the only images that show in my RSS feed are those for “standard” formatted posts. All video and gallery formatted posts also have featured images, but those do not show in my feed. I’m wondering if it has something to do with my theme then?

Ahhh… I think I figured out something… The plugin is not picking up the featured image of either the gallery or video formatted posts. I don’t know what to do about that ??

Hi Sandra, thanks for your response ?? I guess I’ll need to do some research, or spend a week or two hunting down all of the videos and recreating galleries. The odd thing about it is that the new theme I want to change to was made by the same developer of the theme I use now. You’d think he would have some continuity there. Oh well…

Thanks for the 30+ days of silence, but I’ve been forced to go with another plugin. Y’all really need to work on your customer service… especially to people who’ve been nothing but courteous and patient.

I don’t think I’m explaining my issue very well, so I’ll try again.

One day, on all of my posts I had correct share counts on all social media tabs, as well as the correct total share counts.

That same day, I published a new post, and suddenly, all share counts and totals were incorrect for every post. Not only that, but the brand new post showed over 200 total shares the minute it was published when no one had shared it yet.

So now, I can’t show any share counts or share count totals until whatever the problem is gets fixed.

I’m guessing since every other support question has been answered already that this one will remain unanswered? I would speak with the developers of the Custom Sidebars plugin, but their plugin works with everything else on my site, and it works with every other floating social share bar I tried. It seems that there is something with your plugin that is causing the issue.

Well…at least I brought it to your attention since many people also use the Custom Sidebars plugin and would probably like to use yours as well but can’t.

Hi ?? I forgot to come back and tell you that it must have been a plugin conflict ?? I got rid of a few plugins, and now yours works perfectly! Thank you for getting back to me ??

I fixed it with CSS from:

.fa {
font-family: Font Awesome\ 5 Free;
}

to:

.fa {
font-family: FontAwesome;
}

And voila! Problem solved ??

I don’t really know. I just noticed when I tried to save something on our Pinterest account. I haven’t done anything in a long while, but I’ll check plugins for incompatibility.

Edit: Darn it… I found the plugin and its developer NEVER responds to any questions I’ve had. I’m never giving y’all up, so I guess I need to find another recipe plugin ??
