Dave, I’m sorry for not answering sooner.
When thinking about it, this may be more of an issue that I have to resolve for image sizing and compression. I just don’t know how to get it right. Since the largest screen that is commonly used is probably the Mac 27″ I have been creating images for your slider with a width=”2560″ height=”800″ in this case. And then the slider container is set to be responsive. I thought that’s the best way to still maintain the highest resolution but I get the error than from the Google page speed test on those images as :
Compressing and resizing https://www.lickspillfree.com/…ontent/uploads/2015/10/licksPillFree.jpg could save 491.2KiB (98% reduction). There is nothing wrong with your slider I just don’t know how to make for a high resolution image in this case with these heavy graphic images so I though maybe adding a class somehow and then serving up a different image depending on the device size, through media queries, might appease the God Google?
Adding my name to be alerted, looking for same answer. Love the product.

In reply to: Opt-In Plugin Not FreeBecause I wanted to know if one of the “power that be” in WordPress might weigh-in, the developers have no answer to this and there’s been a number of complaints similar to mine. I was trying to be diplomatic, my apology for mis-posting, feel free to delete if you like but I’ve marked it resolved.
Absolutely, thanks for your plugin!
disabling the cache
That seems to have done the trick, not only did the scan complete but I got an email within minutes that a plugin needed to be activated, the type that had been missing.
Thank you.
I’m sorry for the delay, I tried this twice and wasn’t sure if it was my internet at first, but the scan seems to get stuck on both sites, stuck on these lines.

Yes it is enabled.
I have the same settings on all of these sites and these are the only two with this unique behavior, the other ones I get both the scheduled reports and when an individual plugin needs to be updated. If you have a way to email you and I can give you admin access, if it’s helpful to you to know, please let me know. I don’t know if I can put my email on here or it will be stripped. Thanks.
Yes sir, I get that email and the report emails like I said above, just no when there is a plugin update as I do on all the other sites.
I told the client, hopefully they’re purchasing it. The plugin worked great for the prices and I don’t want to start from scratch. ??
Thanks for the response.

In reply to: Font-Awesome position overriding Fixed headerTara, thanks, I thought I would get lucky and someone would recognize my problem. My apologies but the answer for anyone who finds this on a search.
I have a fixed header and the divs containing the font-awesome icons would not go under as they scrolled. The solution was to add z-index:1000; to the position:fixed in the header css.

In reply to: Font-Awesome position overriding Fixed headerSorry Tara, it’s a child theme of twentytwelve I created. I’m used to WordPress, I’m just not sure why the icons are behaving that way, there is nothing in my css class that would do that. I don’t know what I might have to add to the child theme style.css for this, I took over a job and I’m not familiar with them.

In reply to: [Product Widget Slider for WooCommerce] Not much for FreeYou were right and i apologize for the harshness of the wording of the review and have changed that. I was in a place with bad connection and trying to work quickly and did not have time to read how the yellow boxes are for the paid and the little bit in between is for the free (on that one version.)
I stand by my current review that it is a very ad laden plugin and I don’t care for that.
