In reply to: Error trying to upload .kml file to Media LibraryThanks very much! The Enhanced Media Library plugin did the trick, although it has not been tested with the latest version of WP. The File Manager plugin seems to have no capability to upload custom file types, although the documentation says it does.
Also thanks for the method of editing functions.php. That was going to be my next option.

In reply to: Some WordPress 5.2.2 files seem incompatible with PHP 7.2OK, thanks. On further review, I did see the conditionals. My hosting provider only supports up to 7.2 but it’s good to know your recommendation.
Thanks, Rene. I get it now. This answers my question.
Rene,
My question has nothing to do with files or ftp.
As you know, WP Staging copies the database to the staging site, as well as files. This is one of the reasons I use your plugin. Some of the code I’m developing will make changes in database tables, and I don’t want to affect the main site database. I need to look at the tables to verify that the code is working properly. Thanks for your concern, but I do know how to view and update the tables though phpmyadmin as well as other tools.
But how do I get to the database ON THE STAGING SITE? That’s my question.
Jeff
I know that I need to use phpmyadmin. To get to it, I need to open cPanel. My question is, how to get to cPanel on the staging site, which has a copy of the database?
Sorry, I was wrong about something above – the lockout is occuring on the hosting side due to 10 login failures. However, my Wordfence parameter was set to 3, then 5 login failures. I briefly set it to 10, now I just disabled the entire “brute force protection feature.
How can this happen? I see no way to just disable the Wordfence login failure lockout, so do I have to disable the entire Wordfence “brute force protection” feature?
