In reply to: [BuddyPress Docs] All docs not showing all docsUpdate: I just figured out you have to create and set access under the actual plugin on the web page and not the admin menu. Seems kinda of silly but I got it working. The problem now is images cannot be seen in the body of content. Only as links or attachments.
Hello, I have a similar issue with Buddypress Docs. I, as administrator, created a bunch of documents using the Docs menu and add new. There isn’t anywhere that allows you to specify what group the docs are shared too. I need these docs to be shared to everyone.
Right now only those who are administrators can see any of the docs. The rest of the members cannot see any. How do I fix this? I need a general doc archive everyone can see. Are you saying I have to create a general group, then under that group create all of the docs and not use the main doc menu?- This reply was modified 2 years, 3 months ago by jeffcherry.

In reply to: [Memberlite] Mobile LoginHello, anyone here for support on this theme?

In reply to: [evolve] Evolve Theme MenuNevermind… I went ahead and updated to the latest version of WordPress and that fixed it all.

In reply to: [evolve] Evolve Theme MenuHas anyone figured this out yet? I updated the evolve theme as well and the menus are all messed up big time. It is acting like a mobile menu on non-mobile devices. Now there is some button on the right of the menu that has shown up and drops the menu like a mobile device and all menus you click drop these huge menu’s down.

In reply to: [evolve] Gradient of menu barI completely agree. The change after the new theme update really messed up the colors and the differences in the colors and gradient are not good.
Did anyone figure out if this menu coloring and gradient can be changed beside just turning it off?
I had entered a bunch of custom CSS to make things work in the older theme version and had to remove it all as it made the new theme crazy.
Also, will this allow people to sign up for the events online or is there a plugin add on that will?

In reply to: [Download Manager] Tree View Font SizesTHanks, I appreciate it. That did work.
One other thing people are complaining about. When clicking on the file it pops up with the big download dialog. Two issues, one some are afraid to download the file thinking it may not be safe and others cannot seem to find it after they download it… As this is being used by a wide range of people and obviously most not very computer literate, is there a way to just make it open the pdf directly without downloading it or prompting? Most of them are just wanting to view the documents anyway. All the documents are PDF.
Thanks again.

In reply to: [Download Manager] Tree View Font SizesI assume I need to put it in the plugin css somewhere, if so which file and where? Putting it in the appearence / theme custom css does not make and difference.
THanks for the help.

In reply to: Multisite with subdomainsYeah, that is what I am in the process of doing… thanks again for the advise..

In reply to: Multisite with subdomainsThanks… the support from an un-named host said I could use either their shared or VPS hosting to do this and that they allowed it to work on either… would you do one over the other? Of course the VPS is 4 times the cost monthly though…

In reply to: Multisite with subdomainsCool thanks… off to move all my hosting somewhere that will do the subdomain things… it is going to be a long week.

In reply to: Can't create new sites on networkI had seen from others on here that in order to do the multisite subdomain you could not use the one click installs on most of the hosts as they had some preconfigured settings… you had to do the install manually… that is what I had to do on my host…
Others more experienced may confirm though…Forum: Networking WordPress
In reply to: Multisite with subdomainsBefore I go through all the trouble of moving all of my hosting…
Can you confirm that Multisite does work well on the proper hosting and it will do this…
I am trying to have a network of sites similar to wordpress.com or like what yammer.com does… I have a base site with all the plugin’s and setup then for each community of users I give them their own subdoamin site which they can create their own private content and collaborate among just their members after they register and login.
So my main site, mydomain.com is the base and then each community would get their site as community1.mydomain.com, community2.mydomain.com, etc…
I will create the sites for them and set it up intially instead of letting them create the sub sites on demand. Thanks again for the help and advise…

In reply to: Multisite with subdomainsThis is a brand new site under development so no big deal trashing and starting new if needed… I am however running out of time and need to get it launched.
I was trying to stay away from the subfolder option… for what I am trying to do I prefer the subdomain… I guess I just have to find a host that suppoorts it. From reading the forums here all the hosts suck so it should be interesting to find one.
Thanks again.
