In reply to: [Plugin: WP Super Cache] How do I know it’s really caching?I am seeing this exact problem with version .87. Every time I refresh my page, I see:
<!– Dynamic Page Served (once) in 0.109 seconds –>
<!– Cached page generated by WP-Super-Cache on 2009-01-14 11:47:34 –>The cached page timestamp does not change. But it always says it is serving the Dynamic page.
I am also seeing a lot of these messages in my apache error log:
Request exceeded the limit of 10 internal redirects due to probable configuration error. Use ‘LimitInternalRecursion’ to increase the limit if necessary. Use ‘LogLevel debug’ to get a backtrace.This leads me to believe that the rewrite rules are not working properly. Here is the contents of .htaccess:
# BEGIN WPSuperCache <IfModule mod_rewrite.c> RewriteEngine On RewriteBase / AddDefaultCharset UTF-8 RewriteCond %{REQUEST_URI} !^.*[^/]$ RewriteCond %{REQUEST_URI} !^.*//.*$ RewriteCond %{REQUEST_METHOD} !=POST RewriteCond %{QUERY_STRING} !.*=.* RewriteCond %{HTTP:Cookie} !^.*(comment_author_|wordpress|wp-postpass_).*$ RewriteCond %{HTTP:Accept-Encoding} gzip RewriteCond %{DOCUMENT_ROOT}/wp-content/cache/supercache/%{HTTP_HOST}/$1/index.html.gz -f RewriteRule ^(.*) /wp-content/cache/supercache/%{HTTP_HOST}/$1/index.html.gz [L] RewriteCond %{REQUEST_URI} !^.*[^/]$ RewriteCond %{REQUEST_URI} !^.*//.*$ RewriteCond %{REQUEST_METHOD} !=POST RewriteCond %{QUERY_STRING} !.*=.* RewriteCond %{HTTP:Cookie} !^.*(comment_author_|wordpress|wp-postpass_).*$ RewriteCond %{DOCUMENT_ROOT}/wp-content/cache/supercache/%{HTTP_HOST}/$1/index.html -f RewriteRule ^(.*) /wp-content/cache/supercache/%{HTTP_HOST}/$1/index.html [L] </IfModule> # END WPSuperCache # BEGIN WordPress RewriteCond %{REQUEST_FILENAME} !-f RewriteCond %{REQUEST_FILENAME} !-d RewriteRule . /index.php [L] # END WordPress
Any ideas? I would greatly appreciate any help!
Thanks!
