The site had Ubermenu on it and uses ThemeCo’s Pro as a parent theme. On a staging site we removed Ubermenu and deleted all old menus to start from scratch. However, adding a menu item just causes the activity icon to spin and console shows:

Failed to load resource: the server responded with a status of 403 for admin-ajax.php

The host’s error log show nothing unusual.

I did not enable that. I don’t see it under options and wasn’t able to find it in the documentation. Can you tell me where I do that?

This is a single site installation.

We have User Role Editor on the site, but have not modified any setting related to the plugin.

I have not tested on a clean install, but will give that a try next and let you know the results.

Thanks. Managed to get close to what they wanted to by giving them the the access you suggested.

I see that Wired Impact offers a range of services. Would a paid, customized version of this plugin be an option? The client would like to be able to sort board members, for example.

I was looking for the same thing. Tried a few differt shortcodes and it turns out to be orderby="rand"
