i decided to have links only, solved my problem for now ??

the feed for the architectural digest in the sidebar, need it to open in a new window…. sorry I wasn’t clear about that! ??

solved it…. undoing it’s category on the individual post was the trick!

It’s all in the ‘featured article’ options of course and I have half solved it by choosing ‘pages’ on the ‘display in’ options. The full article and image is kind of gone… the listing for the article remains. Looking at the Education page you will see what I mean.

Thank you! Installed and working…now to figure out how to get it to play one right after the other instead of one per page view.

I’m good now – made the necessary changes to the index.php file, figured out the login url and all works fine.

So I see that I should have COPIED not MOVED the index.php and .htaccess files from the WordPress directory to the root. How to recover? I’ve read and read and am not finding the answer.

i changed both URL’s to be:

i kind of take that back… I had to delete the files that were from my old site that had the same names so the rest of the site is working perfectly now. Just no home page image, and can’t log in to the editor any longer.

Almost there…I followed the instructions by changing the links in general first and moved the files to the root successfully.

no images and can no longer log in to any of the editing features to redo the images.

I found it!!!!!!! This is the reference you change in the header.php file up at the top:

#page { background: url(“<?php bloginfo(‘stylesheet_directory’); ?>/images/kubrickbg-<?php bloginfo(‘text_direction’); ?>.jpg”) repeat-y top; border: none; }
<?php } else { // No sidebar ?>

make the image string “png” instead of “jpg” the file name does not match what I was looking for that’s why I couldn’t find it but it referenced “bg” in the name which seemed close enough for me. ??
