unfortunately the only thing lazy loading the images was the gallery plugin itself under ‘lazy load thumbnails’. turned that off but didn’t make a difference.

Thank you for your reply. Since this is always the first thing people blame i have already deactivated all the (very few) plugins i have and it’s still not working. This is not surprising as nothing is set to auto update and it was working fine.

I’m left with the hello theme, elementor and elementor pro. i was using an old version of elementor as i didn’t want to break anything by updating to the latest major update but i have done so now just to test and it’s still broken.

i don’t see how this would be the fault of anything in my ecosystem unless you no longer support elementor.

How would I know when it’s been loaded/triggered please? I’m currently using the caption to load image specific buttons and I want to use js to position the buttons next to the existing right hand menu buttons(play close etc) but the objects return null until the Lightbox has been triggered..
