In reply to: Blog Page 404 ErrorSame thing happened on one of my sites. Not sure what created the ‘blog’ directory, but it caused the same problem.

In reply to: [Event Registration] Event Popups not workingI tracked it down. The issue is with version 2.8 of the MarketPress plugin. Version 2.7 works fine. I’m figuring out the exact issue.
Check out the answer to the question, “Why am I seeing unexpected output…” in the FAQ for the plugin. By creating our own meta descriptions for the pages containing the forms, we were able to successfully coexist with both plugins.
I found the conflict. The plugin, Greg’s High Performance SEO, is snagging the output. I’ve disabled it for now.
I am having similar problems. No error messages are being shown for this form: https://healthsport.com/membership/. We’re using version 5.1.0.1 with WordPress 3.4.2 and the theme, Product. The success messages display fine and the emails get sent. The issue is the error messages only.

In reply to: 1and1 hosting and uploading wordpress 3.1Thank you for the reply. That is what I will do.
I’ve only been dealing with 1and1 due to a client and I hope to avoid doing so in the future. They just don’t seem interested in doing anything but upselling their packages. As soon as the support team hears the magic words “3rd party software” they blow you off.
On the flip side, I’ve been using Hostmonster for my other clients and they have been extremely helpful and easy to use.

In reply to: 1and1 hosting and uploading wordpress 3.1I am also having trouble downloading the 3.1 update for WordPress on a 1and1 server. I’m getting an “Out of Memory” error. I have already updated the .htaccess file for PHP5 as described above when we first installed wordpress and adding the “Options All -Indexes” lines gives me an error 500 when I try the download. Any other ideas?
Thanks,
–JasonPS> 1and1 has been an absolute nightmare.
