Robert – Matt’s team hijacked the plugin slug for Advanced Custom Fields. Unless your site is hosted with WP Engine, it seems that updating the plugin replaces the REAL plugin with this Stolen Custom Fields hijack.

Good news. If you host with WP Engine, you still get the official Advanced Custom Fields. One more reason to do business with WPE.
