Unfortunately not much progress to report, but we still plan to add these features in the future. Have you considered whether the WooCommerce extension might fit your needs? Or would you find it helpful if we integrated with a different plugin?

Thank you for the feedback! Some similar suggestions have been made previously, and are on our list of feature requests. We hope to add these features in the future. Also, you can use the WooCommerce extension to let users purchase prizes with points, by setting up a WooCommerce store on your site.

If you have additional ideas or suggestions, let me know!

    Hi @zkenstein,

This feature is not available yet, but it is planned for the future. You can vote for it here: https://trello.com/c/1O94PYBB/22-post-view-points

    Hi Dave,

Sorry for the delayed reply, I was super busy the last few days. Here is how you can award points for testimonials only if they include images. You will need to use the Conditions settings of the event. Click the “+” sign next to “Conditions” in the event reaction form. A couple of dropdowns will show. In the first one, you want to select “Testimonial ? Content” (this is the default). In the second, select “Contains” (again, the default). Since these are the defaults they will already be selected, so you can just click the “Add” button next to them. Then, in the form for the condition, enter “<img” in the “Word or phrase” field. Then scroll down and hit the Save button. Now the points will only be awarded when the testimonial contains an image.

I think this is a feature that I may add a special condition for in the future, so that people don’t have to know exactly what code to enter in that field. But until then, you can just enter “<img”, and it should work fine (although it won’t be 100% fool-proof).

This still doesn’t seem to have anything related to WordPoints. Have you tried a different web browser?

Thanks @wpbetsy. It doesn’t look like any of the warnings are related to WordPoints. Which browser are you using? I’ve tried both Firefox and Chrome, and I haven’t been able to reproduce the issue.

Also, did you copy the contents of the browser console after attempting to add a condition? Or just after loading the page? If you could see if there are additional errors after trying to add a condition, that would be helpful.

Which web browser do you use? Do you still have the same problem if you try a different browser? Can you check the browser’s error console and see if there are any JavaScript errors?

Which version of WordPoints are you using? When I test the latest version of WordPoints, I cannot reproduce this issue. That is why I think it may be plugin/theme related.

If you deactivate all of your other plugins, does the problem still occur?

    Hi Dave,

Which testimonial plugin are you currently using? WordPoints doesn’t have support for any particular testimonial plugin built in, but it will automatically integrate with any plugin that is using custom post types. That is likely why you are seeing a testimonials event. The event should work properly, so if it doesn’t, that is a bug I’ll need to look into. But first I need to know which plugin you’re using.

OK. This feature is already coming in the next version of WordPoints. I hope to release the update in the next couple months.

I do not know of any conflicts that cause this, but it is possible. Could you try deactivating all of your plugins and see if the problem still exists? If that fixes the issue, try reactivating them one by one to see which one is causing the conflict. Then I will fix it in the next version of WordPoints.

The Top Users In Period extension has a shortcode that can show a list of user points for a particular date.

Yes, but you can use it to add or deduct a specific number. It will be shown in the logs as a specific number of points being added or deducted.

In the next version of WordPoints, this is going to be improved.

Have you installed any new plugins recently? Or changed the theme? Or installed any plugin or theme updates?
