In reply to: [cformsII] Email addresses not savingBoy it would have been nice to have received notification about that. Surprised WordFence didn’t notify me.

In reply to: [Google Map Locations] Default locationNo. Never did. Just built a custom solution using custom fields instead.
For some reason I didn’t see the initial post related to this issue in the forums but I have now and updated the plugin and the bug is fixed. Thanks!
It is attached.

From what I can tell, JetPack doesn’t recognize the single quotes that PressGram uses. It simply ignores them. If I change the post to double quotes around the img tag it works fine – same with other posts on my site.
Not sure why it ignores the image with single quotation marks
<img src='http...jpg'> vs <img src="http...jpg">
but that’s the conclusion I’ve come to on both this site and a couple others.I’ve reached out to the PressGram folks to see if they can update their posting method but it would be great if JetPack was updated as well.
Jeremy,
Thanks for the feedback. The images you’re seeing were being forced via a script in my functions file. I wasn’t sure how long it might be before a fix was found so I went looking for other options.
If you’ll notice – the images that were pulled in is an image from my sidebar – not the actual post as well.
It seems Jetpack is ignoring any images in the post itself.
I’ve pulled the code from my functions file so you can get a better look at what’s happening “out of the box.”Forum: Plugins
In reply to: [Growmap Anti Spambot Plugin] Integration with JetPack Commentsagreed! I’ve been having issues with Jetpack comments and finally narrowed it down to this plugin. Would love to see the two co-exist.
Forum: Localhost Installs
In reply to: Websites Not Loading on Local Wamp ServerAnother possible option – I was trying to rebuild a site from a backup to my local server and I was seeing the same issues.
Other sites worked fine but this site would not.
I found that .htaccess files from my online install were the problem.
Look for any .htaccess files in your main directories- including wp-content or wp-admin or wp-includes.
They may need to be renamed or deleted to get things working again.Forum: Plugins

In reply to: [Plugin: Jetpack] Can't comment on Carousel images – errorVolitions fix worked great – but as often as Jetpack gets updated – that’s gonna be a pain to edit every time. Hopefully someone from Automatic is monitoring this thread and fixes it.

In reply to: [Plugin: Jetpack] Can't comment on Carousel images – errorThanks! Those were lines 299-304 for me and 305 was blank so I wasn’t sure what you commented out.
That seems to have worked. I actually have multiple blogs and multiple blogs linked to my WordPress.com account thanks to JetPack so not entirely sure what the feature does – but obviously killing it works.
Thanks again!

In reply to: [Plugin: Jetpack] Can't comment on Carousel images – errorI noticed tonight that when I activated the carousel portion of Jetpack on another site hosted on the same domain (with Hostgator) I received the same error.
I tried deactivating the comment feature of Jetpack and it didn’t fix anything.
I also tried disabling every other plugin on the sites and that didn’t change anything. ??Forum: Plugins
In reply to: [Plugin: Jetpack] Can't comment on Carousel images – errorI’m having the same issue with WordPress 3.4.2 and Jetpack 1.7 on Hostgator shared hosting.

Voliton.design can you tell us what you did to fix the issue?
Did you simply delete the line or correct it.
I’m seriously considering moving my photos from Flickr to my personal sites but I’d like to get this fixed first for sure.
Yup – I was hijacked by JetPack as well. Thanks for the info and update. Guess I better update all my sites now.

In reply to: instapress update failYeah when I activate the plugin on either of our sites I end up with 500 Internal Server Errors.
I can’t get back in after that unless I kill the site/process from the server itself.

In reply to: instapress update failI’m using 1.2.1 and it seems to crater my sites. I’m not 100% certain yet but the two sites I installed the update on seemed to have cratered all the sites on my shared server tonight. I’m going through and reactivating all my plugins one by one and so far this is the only one that causes everything to come to a halt when activated.
I’m running the latest version of WordPress – 3.1.3 on PHP 5.2 on a shared hosting account with HostGator.
I’ll let you know if I find any other plugins causing problems.
