Thanks Iain for the reply! I found a line in the ninja forms plugin where you pass in ACL_PUBLIC_READ and I just changed it to ACL_PRIVATE and now the permissions are not set to public and the download links still work through ninja forms because you encode the url with the credentials to download it so for now it works great and I feel better because my S3 bucket is more secure.

I would also feel better if you masked the field that holds the secret key in the settings for the ninja forms upload module or just use the one I set in the ini file that the amazon-web-services plugin uses if you leave in blank in your settings file.

I might shoot you a private message as well because we might need a custom s3 module built to show our customers files they have access to, to download.

I submitted the request to ninja forms already! Thanks!

Thanks for the reply. This seems like a great option and we actually purchased it about 2 weeks ago but it isn’t working with our install (4.9.1). I have a support ticket open and they said they are working on it but I don’t have an ETA on a fix and we are under a tight deadline to get this working so I was looking for other options. I was going to list out everything we have looked at or tried but it is a long list at this point. Also with WP-Client, from looking at the screen shots it shows files only to the clients in a long list. I need to it in a folder / windows type explorer as the end user will have a lot of files and the client stores the files in a structure with the year and then multiple folders / files under each year. So if it is showing it in files only format then the client won’t know what year they are looking at. Thanks!
