I was actually using the widget directly. Did the infinite loop involve shortcodes specifically, or would it affect the whole plugin? Later tonight, I can try enabling the update you released today and see if it causes any problems, but I don’t want to risk it if it wouldn’t affect widget instances.

I can try to find out, but it may take a while. It didn’t seem to show up on any error logs I could find, myself.

Can you describe how it broke the site? Something has caused my site to eat up excessive processor power, and that seems to have started when the update to version 3 rolled out.
