In reply to: [If Menu - Visibility control for Menus] Warning in WordPress 5.5Same issue also. I just added the temp fix from @przemek.
For me, the solution was:
Make sure you’re not overriding the Roles redirect by specifying a Form redirect.
Like others, I had the same redirect problem when I was setting up a new website. When a certain role logged in using the UM Login form, it was’t redirecting to where I specified in UM>Roles>Author>Login Options>Redirect to URL. It kept redirecting to the home page!
Found out that a few days ago, I had set UM>Forms>Default Login>Options>Redirect after Login to the home page. Once I changed this to Default, then it redirected as specified under the Roles setting.
Make sure you’re not overriding the Roles redirect by specifying a Form redirect.oops nevermind, I see it in the settings inside the widget.
Sorru about that!I just had this happen too, at least I think it’s the same problem.
I had about a dozen PHP Fatal memory exhausted errors in the error log file:
public_html/wp-content/plugins/sucuri-scanner/src/cache.lib.php on line 261
I’ve deleted those 2 files, which were pretty large and will test now.Yes, we still have optin cat installed and activated.
Also, the ‘List to subscribe to’ setting won’t let me enter the list name that is in MailChimp. It has some other list name in there that I don’t have in MailChimp.
But the API must be working because the email address does get added to MailChimp.
I get an email titled ‘Thank you for subscribing’ and the body says “Email address [email protected]
is not subscribed to the carlahowell.com mailing list.”That worked! Thanks Shamim!
I’m sorry, I meant to say the floating badge that usually appears on the lower right side of the page isn’t showing.
Ok, so just to confirm, the only way to know if any emails were not sent, is to upgrade to Pro and choose the Other SMTP option, with this option being the last choice of all available options due to reliability, etc?
Or to keep a log of unsent emails so we won’t miss any?
