I didn’t notice it before but yes. It says “If your .htaccess file were writable, we could do this automatically, but it isn’t so these are the mod_rewrite rules you should have in your .htaccess file. Click in the field and press CTRL + a to select all.” And then there’s a bunch of letters. What am I supposed to copy it to?

These are the options I have in the permalink area:
Default https://www.aboutjourney.org/?p=123
Day and name https://www.aboutjourney.org/2011/12/05/sample-post/
Month and name https://www.aboutjourney.org/2011/12/sample-post/
Numeric https://www.aboutjourney.org/archives/123

When I choose the day and name option none of my links work anymore. How can I fix this?

When I type https://www.aboutjourney.org/beliefs it sends me to the right page but then it becomes https://www.aboutjourney.org/?page_id=46 in the URL area… that’s because I’m forwarding the address using my host site but I do not know how to change it where it always says /beliefs in the URL section up top where you type what website you want to go to.

Can anyone explain it to me more simple? Haha.
