Yay! It works; it’s a bit of a work around, but it works.

Maybe something like this could be incorporated into the next build ;c)

I forgot to mention that not being able to do this is leading to duplicate images on the server; wasting space and increasing transfer rates ??

I found a hack that does it automagically, the way it probably should work: a simple button that says “exclude image from gallery”

Also, why does the image for the article take users to the thumbnail? How can I fix this so it takes them to the article, not a bigger picture of the thumbnail?

Okay. Here’s another weird thing:

When I add a featured image, I can’t click it to go to the post.

Furthermore, I get two featured images! It makes no sense.

Yay! I moved the .htacess file and worked like a charm. Weird that my server would generate it in seemingly the wrong place. Anyways, thanks for the help!

It’s living in public_html/cgi-bin
That’s the default location for it on the server. Should I move it to the root directory?

Yeah – I modified the .htaccess file as described in the documentation, and added the code that was listed in the Networking section of the Tools menu.
