I’m also getting the following error when I go to my media folder in wordpress and click on my video file.

Warning: Division by zero in /home/kearneym/public_html/kearneymedia/wp-content/plugins/video-embed-thumbnail-generator/video-embed-thumbnail-generator.php on line 1772

videos are about 3 minutes, I am going to try to recompress them and see if that may fix it. they stop after about the same amount of time compressing. I also will check permissions on my folders. is the log file created in the same folder where the videos are?

I am changing this to resolved… Found out that the theme I use had a different jquery library in it’s own js folder. I took a copy of the 1.7.2 jquery.js file from the wp-includes/js/ folder and placed it in my theme’s js folder. I renamed the themes jquery file which was jquery.min.js to jquery.min.js.old and renamed the copied jquery.js file to the jquery.min.js which basically took its pace updating the jquery for the theme.

I by no means believe that this is going to be a fix but was what worked for me.

Any recommendations on how to look at fixing this? I know I can go through and disable plugins an find the one that is conflicting but if this is a simple variable that needs changed or adjusted how would I do that? Or would it be too much code to do it?

I tried the solution by placing the code into the functions.php file at the bottom and the script loads just fine, just as the add-to-cart-variations.min.js did and still get the same js error. it’s almost like the $ variable that it’s calling won’t support the .on function, i have not been one for js as I have a pretty hard time getting php and css down…

I apologize, I miss read and missunderstood the caption for the add vpre flags check box. Checking this box corrects the problems for users on cirtexhosting.

Just as an FYI I was having a simialr problem with ffmpeg and the encoding not working, I applied your hack where you stated, right after the vcodec libx264 and I am now encoding with the progress bar working. I am only encoding the mobile/h.264

I also want to thank you for the time that you have been putting into this and wish I could contribute more, especially being in the film/video industry. (If I knew more about coding I would totally be onboard helping you out)

Okay. I thnk I figured out what was going on by trying a different plugin for facebook. With the other plugin i was getting a cURL communication error which is linked to my web hosting company blocking SSL over PHP. With that in mind I am switching web hosting companies and will report back next week after I switch to see if that fixed the problem.

agreed i think its a bug that I have tried resetting the plugin… although I havent tried deleting it and reinstalling it… I have tried restting app information and that didn’t work, went through the whole process of making the app and all the icons and sumbiteed it. Still will not connect with facebook to utilize the publishing feature. everything else with the plugin seems to work ok except that
