Problem solved as the time period expired and I am once again able to get into the website, etc.

Thanks for those who took a look!

As you can see, I wrote about this issue over four months ago and the answer supplied does not work. I have tried it a number of times, but going to the Appearance -> Menus -> Menu Setting and unchecking the box does not work.

Although the box “Automatically add new top-level pages to this menu” is not checked, the page still appears in the menu. I am at the point now where this has become problematic.

Please find a solution to this problem.

    Thank you for your assistance.

PS – I double checked this (above issue) today and I see that the Pinterest button does work sporadically if multiple attempts are made to click on it. It is just inconsistent.

Thank You. I thought I had tried unchecking the box, but still had an issue so let me try that again!

    Chhabi:

Thank you for the information. I am not a CSS or HTML expert, but I have done some coding in the past. Can you tell me in which file and where in that file the code must be placed? Thank you very much for you time and interest.

    Regards,

This is a good example of the font about which I wrote:

It seems as though it is a medium grey color and I fear it may be difficult for some viewers to read.

For some reason, this plugin stopped working after my last upgrade to version 3.2.1. I have deleted and reinstalled, but still not working. Anyone have any ideas?

Also…if I have the backup files saved on my Macintosh, where are they placed?

    Thanks – [ J. Ross ]

I was able to resolve this issue by trying a couple of things:

Deleting the old index.php file via FTP
Renaming the new index.php file supplied by the upgrade
Deactivating all plugins manually EXCEPT the automatic upgrade plugin

The process seemed to work well after that.

Thanks again for anyone who viewed this with the intent to help!

Yes, I had this issue and I too am using the Connections Reloaded Theme v 1.5 and what I have done to work around this was I created a clear jpg and gif to serve as a placeholder. One is larger than the other and I just load them whenever I need to hold lines, etc.

You can see it at work between my sections at gardeningonthemoon.com

I use it before and after “Gardening on the Moon, https://www.gardeningonthemoon.com , originally published this post” and other places as needed

You are right, it is a pain, but this workaround solves the problem!
