One more question, almost in the same vein.

Can we set a “early bird” and a “grace” period ?

For instance,

• membership is open any time in the year
• the membership will expire on the 1st janurary of the next year, but

• if they register register in december 2021, their membership won’t expire on the 2022/01/01 but 2023/01/01, we consider them as “early birds/members/renewer”
• if they do not renew their membership before the expiration date, we do not kick them out straight, and let them a “grace period” of three extra month to renew their membership. So someone who registered for 2021 will keep the same “rights” until 2022/03/31. “Officially” his membership has ended on 2022/01/01, but we let the member some time to renew his membership, while legitimatly send him renewal reminder during this “grace period”. I don’t think mooving the offcial exiration date to 2022/03/31 would work, as the member won’t feel his not a member anymore, and it wouldn’t be nice to hammer curent members to renew for the next year (one mail is ok, but often not enough)

I think it was {siteurl}{posttitle}{filename}, with - as separator.
I then changed it to {posttitle}{filename} but I don’t think it has solved the issue with a specific file…

Speaking of file… which one was it ? hum
I just tried again with this one and it failed :
“politique-de-la-terre-et-de-lappartenance-droits-fonciers-et-citoyennete-dans-les-societes-du-sud.jpg”

on a post named
“Politique de la terre et de l’appartenance. Droits fonciers et citoyenneté locale dans les sociétés du Sud”

I know it failed a couple of times but could only dificultly retrive each of them

Update,
with rute force enabled and recaptchat disabled, there is still some spam account created.

So it would be great if enabling re-captchat for wp log-in page wouldn’t block logging in from a third-party form.

Sadly, even with brute-force disabled, I can’t log-in from my custom from.

However it appears that the issue comes from “re-captcha”.
If brute-force is enabled and re-captcha disabled, I can use my form to log-in.
I wonder is this will prevent the creation of spam account.

Obvisouly, this is least than ideal, so I wonder how other people do, I must no be the only one using a log-in form and wordfence ?!
Thus what would be wordfence “recomended” way to set a custom log-in form ?

Thank’s for the feedback.

If I disable wordfrence, then we can use my custom form to log in. if I enable it, not anymore, it’s pretty consistent and happend with at least few wp account that do not have the same role.

The form I use is build with caldera form
(this is something that may change in the near future, but not now for several reasons)

the registration and log-in page are the generic one from wordpress, I haven’t changed that.
Then I have a page with a form, which can log-in user. is this the page you look for ? the page slug is something like “membership” (I don’t want to disclose it as the real slug contains the most important part of the domain name ??

• native wp-gutemberg columns block, or the columns themselves, or any group/block within a column.
• nor in CoBlocks page builder rows, and whatever you nest in

Your plug-in just need true or false, for instance

function CheckForCapability2 () {
    if (current_user_can('myCustomCap1') || current_user_can(myCustomCap2)){
       retunr true;
    }else {
       retunr false;
   }
}

And then type “CheckForCapability2” in the block php setting

Would that work, or is there any other needs ?

Indeed, I could add this capability to a role, that’s actually a good idea, event if in my use case, I would then need to create threes roles, which is not so nice neither.

I was more considering using a php condition, with current_user_can() that’s also very flexible but maybe less future proof (changes that may break the function output)
