In reply to: [WP Photo Album Plus] IPTC and EXIF data not workingThank you. I think the problem was with certain photos – others are working fine.

In reply to: [WP Photo Album Plus] IPTC and EXIF data not workingOnly the first photo in the album has the shortcodes in the description. Do you see that the shortcode is visible above the Camera Info link – and if you hover over the photo, the description shows all the code? And in Camera Info – all shortcodes are showing. Is this supposed to work that way?
The photos were resized, yes, but all IPTC info is still there when I open them in Photoshop.

In reply to: [WP Photo Album Plus] IPTC and EXIF data not workingok – I passworded the page for now –

password is wppahelp
I can only leave this for a short time so will disable password and make private again soon.
Only the first photo in the slideshow has the shortcodes in the description. I didn’t do it for the other photos yet.

In reply to: [WP Photo Album Plus] IPTC and EXIF data not workingNo – it says No IPTC data and No EXIF data in the boxes. But when I open the photo in Photoshop, there is clearly IPTC data in the fields.
I am trying to disable each other plugin one by one to see if there’s a conflict. I know the shortcodes should not appearing in the description.

In reply to: [WP Photo Album Plus] IPTC and EXIF data not workingThose are definitely checked. Unfortunately we have the page private until it’s ready to be launched – I’ll see if I can password it temporarily.

In reply to: [Plugin: Page.ly MultiEdit] Page.ly MultiEdit tab disappearedI deactivated all plugins to test it, reactivated only MultiEdit, and it still didn’t work. Any other ideas? I will check it in Firebug.

In reply to: [Plugin: Page.ly MultiEdit] Page.ly MultiEdit tab disappearedI now realized I can access and edit our content in the custom fields area. This is fine as I can code HTML but in the future, editors who are not code savvy will need to edit the sidebars in the WSYIWYG area. Any ideas where my tabs went? I know it’s not a plugin conflict as I deactivated all plugins but this one to test it, and it still didn’t work.

In reply to: [Plugin: SidePosts Widget] Sideposts imageBrilliant! This is exactly what I needed. Thank you so much!

In reply to: [Plugin: SidePosts Widget] Sideposts imageoh, thank you so much for trying this! I will download it and try it later and I will report back.
The theme I am using already has thumbnails showing on the main page (mimbo theme) for excerpts and it automatically generates the thumbnail size even if the photo is originally large in the post. It would be fabulous if Sideposts can do that as well.

In reply to: [Plugin: SidePosts Widget] Sideposts imagethanks, but that didn’t work. it pulled in the same image for all three sideposts posts – and it was the image from my main post.
is there a line of code I can add to the sideposts code?

In reply to: Repost – Please help with Installation! PHP errors.I don’t know if Gettext is installed – I’ll try to find out, thank you.
The reason for the multiple installs is that it didn’t work the first time, or the second – so each time I tried to install again I had to give it a new table prefix or it would tell me it was already installed but yet I can’t log in and get to any interface.
I do also have a Movable Type blog running – but from what I understand, that shouldn’t be a problem.

In reply to: Repost – Please help with Installation! PHP errors.Well, no go, that fix didn’t work for me at all. I tried the blank language file and commenting out that code but it made a bigger mess.
I’m really at a loss here. We have a SunOS server with PHP 4.2.3. Is anyone else using that configuration with success?

In reply to: Repost – Please help with Installation! PHP errors. Thanks Doodlebee – but no, I did not try to enter any English or any language file. The language area in my file looks the same as yours. I only changed database user name, password, and the prefix for the table (since I have more than one blog using the database).
