@sterndata, yes a few minutes ago I installed a plugin, suggested on this forum, to rediret my wordpress site for my old business jbinspection.com to my new squarespace site borgeshomeinspections.com

I’ll have to get around to actually deleting the old site but this is a good start. Thanks for getting me on the right track for that.

@sterndata, doesn’t ring a bell. The only hosts I’ve ever worked with was hostgator, enom, (which could’ve sworn hosted this site,) and whatever squarespace uses.

Interesting. Thanks for looking that up I’ll give them a call

Thanks for responding. I think I got a redirect plugin working to my new site.

I called enom and they said they are not hosting the old site (no idea who is.) I’m not sure about any of the other steps because I don’t know what a DNS or an FTP is, but I’ll look into it. (I promise I’m more useful in other aspects of life.)

    Thanks again

    Thanks Bill!

Took it off site-content and applied it to blog and page wraps, it seemed to do the trick.

Last thing I need to figure out is how to make a shadow for my comment area at the bottom of each blog blend with the shadow of my blog content area, since they do not have a page break. But I will figure this out!

    Thanks again.

    RESOLVED

Turns out there was a “margin-top 9px;” under the box-wrap of my main content. Welp… Hope this is useful to some other rookie.
