Same here! When I first set up the plug-in for Twitter, it worked fine on the desktop; but I had to adjust a couple of parameters, and by doing so I had to go back in and reset the tokens. It says the tokens are working properly, and they do on a smartphone but not on a desk- or laptop.

In reply to: [TS Poll - Survey, Versus Poll, Image Poll, Video Poll] Images DistortedThanks for the info. The problem is, CHANGES I MAKE TO THE TEMPLATE FILE DO NOT SAVE. Therefore I cannot change image height or number of columns.
I installed your plugin on a different website – different host, different theme – and my changes to “Answer Options: Image Hekght” and “Column Count” did not save, either.

In reply to: [TS Poll - Survey, Versus Poll, Image Poll, Video Poll] Images DistortedThe template file where I make those changes does not update. There now seem to be TWO templates called “Total Soft Image Poll 1,” but neither updates and I cannot delete either.
I deleted the plugin, re-downloaded it and re-installed it, hoping for a fresh start, but all the previous settings survived. I deleted the original poll and re-added it, but still could not change image height in the template.
And occasionally when I try to save the template, I get “You are not authorized to access this file.”
I missed your reply – sorry. I use the widget for the right sidebar, and I set it not to display on the Calendar page. So on the calendar page, the widget doesn’t display, but a second full calendar appears in the LEFT sidebar.
The same thing happens at another site, https://www.clintoncountydailynews.com/events/.
I tried removing the sidebar widget, but the problem was still there.

In reply to: [Timely All-in-One Events Calendar] Duplicate Calendar in Sidebarhttps://wrbiradio.com/calendar-2/
REVISED INFORMATION – we are not using the Jetpack “visibility” option and never have. In the sidebar widget that displays in the RIGHT sidebar, we had the box checked that says “hide calendar…” I unchecked that box, but it has no effect on the problem.

In reply to: [Timely All-in-One Events Calendar] Duplicate Calendar in SidebarWe use the short code on the RIGHT sidebar, but on the actual calendar page, we have it set so the short code does not display (through Jetpack’s visibility module). I have tried disabling the Jetpack module – in fact, Jetpack altogether – and it has no effect on the problem. There is no Calendar short code on the left sidebar at all.
In fact, I have tried disabling all other short codes, but the problem persists.

Tobias,
Thanks for all your help and responsiveness. I was unable to access options.php through the browser. I would get the login screen, then go to the dashboard; even when logged in, whenever I entered the URL for the options.php file, I was taken back to the login screen and then to the dashboard.
I did fix the problem, but it was kind of a brute force method: First, I took the source code for the tables that were displaying on the website and exported them as CSV files for later importation.
Then, I deleted the plug-in altogether. Then, I searched the database for all rows in all tables containing the word “tablepress” and deleted them. Then I downloaded, installed and activated the TablePress plug-in. At that point, TablePress did show up properly in the WordPress menu. Finally, I imported the CSV files to re-create the tables I had before.
So, although it took me longer to do it this way, I ended up with a clean install and everything is working fine now.
Thanks again for your help and responsiveness.
Jay
I looked in options.php, and all the other options files – options-general, etc. – and could find NO tablepress entries at all. I went to a site where tablepress works correctly and could not find “tablepress” in any of the options files in wp-admin there, either.
Now what?
