Thanks for the response. I do have other plugins installed but they are inactive. I know Smush integrates with Hummingbird so I will check the Smush settings so that our theme isn’t overdoing it.

Here’s an example of exactly what’s happening.
I uploaded an image on 8/2. On that original image, 17 different sizes were created.

If that were it, I think that would be okay. But, even though I haven’t uploaded that image again, something creates a new copy of it and another 17 sizes are created as well. That happened on 8/4.

This is what I’m very interested in preventing.

I did. We’re using the free version so they recommended I try WP support first.

I also have this and/or a similar issue with my content folders. Uploaded images are being duplicated hundreds of times and are severely bloating my server usage. One uploaded image turns into 270 versions of that image. Multiplied over months, it causes storage overages of multiple GB.
