It works yes, but users are unable to subscribe to comments in my experience and from what I have read from others.

In reply to: Add Media – Insert Image in Post not workingWell I have been looking at different fixes, and tried them all, from fresh installs, to my browsers, to the .htaccess edits from different suggestions. Nothing works. About as far as I get is the pop-up tat ask if your sure about leaving the page stops coming up.
I do believe it is crazy that a piece of blogging software has this problem at all, and I never had the problem until 2.6, and I can upload to pages fine, it is only POST. Thanks for all the suggestions so far, and I guess keep them coming.

In reply to: 2 category widgets – can posts be added to one or the other? So it would appear..and this is driving me nuts too…We still don’t know why we can put multiple instances of the built in category widget on sidebars? In other words BUMP.
And yes that Chris Pearson article is great, but still think the widget could be better. Starting to hate categories and tags.

In reply to: Widget File LocationOk I got that.
Let me ask you this.
In the Cutline theme, l_sidebar and r_sidebar default are coded to show what they want. But as soon as you add a widget to a sidebar, that supersedes those 2 php files. Correct? Assuming that is true, where can you go in and edit the code after you add the widget, take for example categories, if I wanted to only display certain cats, which I know how to do from the codex, about the loop, and also reading pearsonified.com, but then wanted another category widget added for another category.
To do this, is the only reason I can see why they let you add multiple instances of the category widget, unless I am missing something completely.

In reply to: Widgets in the Sidebar – is this an expected result?I have about the same question. Ok, all that is understood, the coded stuff was let’s say in sidebar.php, but as soon as the widget is added, then sidebar.php is not used? It does not appear it is added to….So which file do you go to change the results or display? functions.php, perhaps??
