Thanks for the reply, however I am still not got the workaround, I am new to wordpress and even PHP. I switched from Asp.net. So, here everything is blurred to me.
I am using Syndication plugin to import the posts from various blogs and “Easy Custom Auto Excerpt to generate the excerpt”.
I was thinking there would be any a function to call author and date of post and edit the excerpt but really finding difficult for the workaround.
