In reply to: How to change the letters on the login and register fieldsHello @corporativesupport
I can particularly pinpoint the class for your input field on your form since the right click is disabled from your website.
You can, however, insert this code to your stylesheet:
input[type=text] {
color: #252525;
}
input[type=text]:focus {
color: #252525;
}You can replace the #252525 with any color hex code you like. For pure black, it’s #000000.

In reply to: Can’t remove white line to the left of header logoHello @magictortoise
I checked your website and the problem is indeed in your logo image.
I downloaded it, removed the white line on the left, and I minified it so to be optimized for web browsers by making it light but maintaining the quality.
Here’s the fixed and minified version.
Here’s the fixed and original version.
Let me know how it goes.

In reply to: Database Update Required. Now pages and plug-in gone.Hello @snowles
Thank you for reaching out to WordPress Customer Support, my name is Jay and I am your friendly WordPress Technician for today.
I apologize you have to run into this, can you be so kind as to log in to your /wp-admin dashboard?
Next, can you go to Setting > Permalink, and under Common Settings the radio button for Post Name is ticked? Then hit SAVE CHANGES.
After that, kindly go back to the pages that used to be 404 or gone, to see if they are now accessible.
Let me know how it goes.

In reply to: Critical error after installing theme@grevendj Glad that’s fixed. Let me know how else I could help. Cheers.
@avscor It could be caused by your theme’s stylesheet overriding the megamenu stylesheet. Either way, glad that’s ironed out.
@oceanmoonrise Glad that’s settled. ??

In reply to: Critical error after installing themeAlright cool. @grevendj go to your themes folder and delete the theme folder you just uploaded. The Qudos theme. That should fix the critical error and you should be able to login to your WordPress dashboard.
Next thing is, on your dashboard Appearance > themes activate the twenty twenty-two theme. Thats the default theme.
Next is, deactivate unused plugins from your previous theme.
Lastly, upload and activate your Qudos theme.
Let me know if the error still persists after activation of the said theme.

In reply to: Critical error after installing themeFirst of all, you need access to your cPanel. There’s no other way since you can no longer access your WordPress dashboard.
FTP access is also granted via cPanel. So you must get a hold of that access to fix this issue. If you don’t have access, you need to ask for it from your hosting admin.

In reply to: Critical error after installing themeHi @grevendj is your website a fresh WordPress install or you installed the theme with pre-existing themes on it?
Do you have a caching plugin installed? If yes, kindly disable them first via cPanel or FTP access by renaming their folder.
Let me know if it fixed the issue.

In reply to: Login issuesHi @katydid1234 is that how you usually log in with your website using yourdomain.com/wp-admin and suddenly stop working?
Because www.remarpro.com, WordPress.com, and Self-hosted WordPress are different services. Sure, you may interlink them, but having an account with one does not automatically give you access to another. Hope this enlightens you.
Your current website oceanmoonrise.com hosted at Bluehost, is connected with your WordPress.com account via Jetpack. As I understand it, you need to make changes to the WordPress.com dashboard and to your self-hosted WordPress dashboard, oceanmoonrise.com/wp-admin.
As for the subscribe widget. It’s a Jetpack service that is also connected to your WordPress.com account. An option to change the blog’s name should be present along with its options.
That’s the extent I could help, you can show screenshots, and that will be helpful to support you further.

In reply to: Cannot login and access admin on Dockerized WordPressHi @dpratama, are the set wp_home and wp_siteurl on wpconfig.php consistent with the values set on your MySQL tables?
Hi @avscor, the issue here is the gap between your menu link and the dropdown menu box.
If you don’t mind reducing that gap, then we can fix the issue. You can do this by inserting a small line of CSS on your website.Go to Customize > Additional CSS
then insert this:
.jeg_megamenu .sub-menu {
margin-top: -20px;
}It’s not the best solution there is, but it fixes this issue quickly.
If you have a self-hosted WordPress, you should have access to a dashboard. It can be accessed via oceanmoonrise.com/wp-admin; from there, you can execute the changes you need.
You mentioned “the old name of the blog is still appearing in two places” what are those places, if I may ask?
“the old name still appears in the e-mails” if you are using a third-party mail service like Mailchimp or ActiveCampaign, you need to make the changes from those accounts.
Hope this helps.
