In reply to: [EasyRecipe] Fractions not displaying properly in Easy Recipe pluginHi,
The problem is that the font you are using for the recipe (Open Sans) is not capable of rendering all fractions. It can render 1/4, 1/2 and 3/4 but it can’t render other fractions like 2/3 or 1/8.
The only solution is to use a different font that can render all the fractions you want to use (like Arial) or turn off the fraction conversion in the EasyRecipe settings.

In reply to: [EasyRecipe] Formatting on home page – Plain textHi,
If you have a static page as your front page, add the shortcode [easyrecipe_page] somewhere at the top of the page. If that doesn’t help, open a support ticket at https://help.easyrecipeplugin.com/support/home and we’ll do our best to help you sort it out.

In reply to: [EasyRecipe] How to show part recipes on categories list of postsWhat you want to do is part of the theme processing and it’s not something that EasyRecipe can easily influence. It’s somewhat problematic getting an excerpt if you have posts that contain only a recipe, because the text in the recipe IS the post and when you ask WP for an excerpt by using the_excerpt(), it will strip all the HTML tags and use the text that remains. You can remove the “Save” and “Print” by setting the “Filter excerpts” option in the EasyRecipe settings, but the basic text of the post is still going to be the first few hundred characters of the recipe.
One way around it is to explicitly add your own excerpts to each post. When you do that, themes should use it instead of trying to create their own excerpt from the post text.

In reply to: [EasyRecipe] How to show part recipes on categories list of postsWhat actually gets shown on a category page is controlled by your theme. EasyRecipe will expand and format recipes in posts, but has no control over what a theme then takes from those posts to use as content on things like category pages.
You might find our EasyIndex plugin will do a better job than a category page: https://easyindexplugin.com/

In reply to: [EasyRecipe] Plugin conflicts?EasyRecipe ratings work by either adding a rating widget to the standard WP comment form or self rating. You can read more about how it works at https://help.easyrecipeplugin.com/support/solutions/articles/6000073068-how-do-i-get-the-recipe-ratings-to-work-

In reply to: [EasyRecipe] Licence suddenly expiresHi Aircut,
The license renewal is to cover the new work we do on the plugin and access to our (paid) support guy. Renewing is entirely optional. If you decide not to renew, then the plugin will still work exactly the same as it always has. Although you won’t get the benefit of new updates, the plugin that you bought won’t be restricted in any way at all. We have no problem at all if you don’t wish to renew but we simply can’t afford to give away for free, work we do on new stuff.
Updates to the free version of the plugin are still free of course.

In reply to: [EasyRecipe] Image does not appearHi Cédric,
EasyRecipe ratings work by adding a rating widget to the standard WordPress comment form. When someone leaves a comment with a rating, the ratings will appear on the recipe. If there are no ratings, the rating on the recipe is suppressed. You’ll see on the post you mention that there are already a couple of comments with ratings and the rating stars do indeed appear on the recipe. You can read more about ratings at https://help.easyrecipeplugin.com/support/solutions/articles/6000073068-how-do-i-get-the-recipe-ratings-to-work-

In reply to: [EasyRecipe] Image does not appearUnfortunately Google doesn’t guarantee to show snippets even if the snippet markup is correct and all the required data is supplied. You can read more about why you don’t see recipe rich snippets for your site at https://help.easyrecipeplugin.com/support/solutions/articles/6000047582-why-don-t-my-recipes-show-images-on-a-google-search
