In reply to: [EasyRecipe] Premium Support Not RespondingHi Nancy,
You can still use your existing license (although as @klongdesigns points out, it would be a good idea to edit your post and remove the key!).
If you still have the old site active, de-active the license on that site, then you can re-activate it on the new site.
If you don’t have the old site still active, send me a note and I’ll reset it at our end.

In reply to: [EasyRecipe] Easy Recipe Support Non-ResponsiveHi lkkemph,
My apologies for the lack of support but I have been unable to work for the past 2 years due to some unexpected medical issues. I’m recovered now and back behind the desk. The plugin will definitely be maintained and supported going forward!

Hi,
Sorry for the non-response to some tickets. For the past 2 years I’ve been unable to work but I’m back behind the desk now. If you resend your problems I’ll help sort it out.

In reply to: [EasyIndex] Does Easyindex index pages? Or only posts?EasyIndex actually indexes taxonomies (e.g. categories or tags) and by default those only apply to posts, so it only indexes posts

In reply to: [EasyRecipe] Can I upgrade to this version from ver 3.4.3177You should be able to upgrade. If you are having problems. delete the entire
/wp-content/plugins/easyrecipe

In reply to: [EasyIndex] how do I insert the index in a post?Hi,
You don’t need a shortcode to display indexes. EasyIndex creates what are effectively “pages” which you can add to a menu or create a link to. The URL of the index is shown in the “Permalink” field after you enter the index title.
You can add primary indexes to a menu on the Menus admin page just like you would a post or a page. (“Menus” is found under “Appearance” on the WP admin dashboard) Secondary indexes will automatically be added as submenu items if you check the “Auto include on menus” option when creating the index.
If you need to add secondary indexes directly to a menu (most people don’t) you can do that using “Custom Links” on the Menus page.

In reply to: [EasyRecipe] Can't upload a photo on free versionHi,
The version it asks for when you post here in the support forum is the WordPress version you are using on your blog, not the plugin version. The latest version of EasyRecipe is indeed 3.5.3208
The free version will automatically pick up and use the first image it finds in the post as the “recipe image” (i.e. the image that will be marked up for Google rich snippets and also used in the recipe if the recipe style you select does display an image). On the free version, you can change the image that EasyRecipe will select as long as the image you want to use is already in the post. To select a different image, click on the image in the post editor and select “edit” (the pencil icon). Under “Advanced options”, add the word “photo” to the “Image CSS Class” field. If there is already something in that field, separate “photo” from whatever is there with a space.

In reply to: [EasyRecipe] Update error for 3.5.3208You only need to renew the license if you want to continue to receive new updates of the Plus version of the plugin and priority support.
Renewal is entirely optional. If you don’t renew, the operation of the plugin won’t be affected in any way. The plugin you purchased will continue to work exactly has it always has with the current version of WordPress.
