In reply to: [EasyRecipe] New licenses don’t workHi,
Our license server was out of action for a few hours last night and it was incorrectly responding to license queries.
It’s back to normal now and you’ll find you can activate the licenses and update normally.
But do let us know if you continue to have any issues.

In reply to: [EasyRecipe] Missing structured data propertiesHi Jose,
We’re in the process of adding the latest schema.org Recipe fields as we speak. “recipeIngredient” is a replacement for the superseded “ingredients”, but you will find that “ingredients” (as EasyRecipe provides at the moment) will still work just fine.

In reply to: [EasyRecipe] GDPR ComplianceHi Jose,
EasyRecipe does not collect any personal information from viewers or use cookies at all. However if you have the plus version of the plugin, it does collect an email address in the process of accepting user submitted recipes if you have that enabled. It merely stores that email address – what is done with the email address subsequently is entirely up to the site. EasyRecipe does not access it.

In reply to: [EasyRecipe] Does EasyRecipe support shortcodes?Hi Jose,
EasyRecipe doesn’t use shortcodes to render recipes, it hooks into the WordPress “the_posts” hook to combine the recipe data and your selected recipe style to produce the HTML for a formatted recipe.
I’m not familiar with Thrive Architect or how it’s different from a standard WordPress theme… perhaps you could create a support ticket at https://help.easyrecipeplugin.com/ or directly from the Support tab on the plugin’s setting page in your WP admin so we can get more details and investigate further.

In reply to: [EasyRecipe] Warning Missing ArguementHi,
This is an error in the version of the Foodie Pro theme you have. I believe later versions of Foodie Pro have fixed the error.

In reply to: [EasyRecipe] How to remove plugin completelyThis is just a delay in Google. If you’ve deleted the EasyRecipe plugin then it will have been deleted completely. You’ll find that Google will drop those links eventually as it realizes they no longer exist.

In reply to: [EasyRecipe] Recipes are not showing carouselHi,
According to Google, (https://developers.google.com/search/docs/guides/mark-up-listings) the markup required for inclusion in the search carousel for recipes is the same as for “rich results” (Rich Snippets) which EasyRecipe provides, plus some extra markup for “host specific lists”. EasyRecipe does not provide that at the moment, but we’ll look into it for an upgrade later this year. Note that to have your recipes come up in a carousel you’d have to not only have Google pick your site as the first result for the given search terms, but Google would also have to have decided to display rich results for your site, which is not guaranteed even if your markup is 100% correct (which EasyRecipe’s always is) (https://help.easyrecipeplugin.com/support/solutions/articles/6000047582-why-don-t-my-recipes-show-images-on-a-google-search-)

In reply to: [EasyRecipe] Does deactivating the plugin deletes all recipes?Hi,
Deactivating (or even deleting) the plugin won’t change any of your existing recipes. The only effect will be that the recipes will be displayed without formatting (they’ll still be readable – just not as pretty) during the time the plugin is deactivated. Once it’s reactivated, everything will be back to normal.

In reply to: [EasyRecipe] Recipes are not showing carouselCan you explain what you mean by “showing in carousel”?

In reply to: [EasyRecipe] Premium Support Not RespondingDone!
I’ve changed the license over to the new domain. It will only work for that domain so don’t worry about posting it here.
You should find if you enter the license key on the EasyRecipe settings page and save, you should be able to activate it if it’s not already showing as active.
Let me know if there are any problems.
