Ok – i don’t know what everyone is talking about with toggles and so forth with all the other jargin and feel a real beginner. My problem is not resolved I get 404 on the main page for the first page of the blog which is the only page I started to do the changes on. Think its a brilliant SEO device, but clearly I am too green and do not know what I am doing. I know this is not about categories, but wondering if what you are talking about will work on the main page.
I have to keep refreshing it and as its the landing page its a bit yuck! Thanks

Bear with me, I don’t know the terms. The look of the site translates (in my simple language) as a page with the error 404 coming up everytime I google the site.

I have no idea what a site map is and really want to know how to clear the error 404 thing that keeps appearing – losing all of the first page except the title and consequently the ‘look’ of the site. Hope thats clearer.

And this plugin has certainly caused it, as there wasn’t anything like that happening before I downloaded it. But I will check out what you say in the hope that will rectify it.

I am really annoyed. As a simple beginner this plug in looked good.
Having downloaded this an hour ago and started using it, I have lost my home page with the error statement saying 404 not found. I deactivated the plugin, re-activated it. Discarded the home page and then renewed it to see if there was a change. There wasn’t the same error message comes up.

I am really upset and wished I hadn’t used it without realising the consequences. It’s probably simple if you know what you are doing, but it does point to getting a professional to set you up and teach you how to use it properly. I have lost the look of my website and am not a happy bunny. Would love some help with this.
