I have the plugin for Sitemap, compatible to Google from:

It has always done well for me but I see no way of editing it. I clicked the link to my sitemap.xml but there is no edit feature or save feature.

I use Dreamweaver on my commercial web site and you can edit anything including your sitemap.

Under WP I don’t see a capability of editing.

What I was trying to do is locate and delete the category that has the incorrect date format but that category is not numbered and seems like a “false” URL.

I went line for line in my category sections but don’t see it.

A little late but I would NOT recommend using “The Host Group.”

At one point Yahoo recommended Webble You who went out of business and transferred hosting duties to The Host Group.

They are “iffy” at best with WordPress. But as of Saturday, Nov. 3, 2007 I am still offline as they “upgrade” servers.

Their last phone message states they are now 99% complete with one server left to “correct.” That’s nice, I must be one of the bottom feeders. Lost adsense income is one very big issue I have at this point, besides the fact they never announced the upgrade and probably thought the could complete this midnight to 5 a.m.

Very poor planning. With that said, has anyone used Yahoo hosting for WordPress blogging? I have a store with them and never have problems.

I intend to use Yahoo for hosting, I’m not positive what version I had and what will migrate over? In other words will I have to use my backup and rebuild anything missing in the theme, plugins or template?

Get the plugin Akismet out of your plugins.

You’ll then need an API key to further emply it.

This should be available when you activate out of plugin’s or your host may be able to help you.

So far this year I have blocked over 30,000 spam.

Ultimately, the advice I was given is beyond me. I am not sure what to do or even exactly what file(s) to make the changes.

The host is done, period. The consultant spoke in code (to me) so I’m no where with this.

I do I change the readable only into writeable??

Google has a translation site with translation buttons and your readers can place the language of their choice on their toolbar. When they come to your site they click the button and it translates the content.
